サマーコース: オンラインフィクションライティング

フィクション作家が言語を使って世界を調べ、魅力的なキャラクターを創造し、読者を感動させる方法を探るオンライン ワークショップ コースです。まず、作家が架空の世界を創造するために使用するさまざまなテクニックを示すいくつかのストーリーを学習します。これらのストーリーを、ライティング演習や短い課題のモデルとして使用し、完全なストーリーの下書きを作成します。

比喩表現、登場人物や設定の展開、劇的な構成など、ストーリー作りの要素を学びます。その後、各学生は完全な草稿を提出し、講師やクラスメートからフィードバックを受けます。このコースは完全にオンラインで行われますが、従来の教室の雰囲気はそのままです。ディスカッションやバーチャル オフィス アワーなどのオプションの同期要素により、学生は講師やクラスメートと直接やり取りすることができます。
